Legal Register:
The Register guide covers all relevant legislation and Regulation, where it is applicable and how it is applied. The guidance note will enable the Learner to identify Legislation that is / is not applicable to their business and enable them to construct a business specific Legal Register.
To support the role of emergency planning within ISO this guidance will provide an overview of the role of the Health & Safety at Work Act as an enabling Act for subsequent Regulations. Areas covered will include duties of employers / employees, powers to make Regulations, enforcement and penalties. An appendix to this guidance note will be a glossary of terms used within Health & Safety Legislation and Regulation.
