The quick reference guides do exactly what they say and act a quick reference which is great when you need a quick head up on how to use one of the implementation tools/techniques.
These “flash cards” are also great when you need to refer to them either in a meeting of problem-solving session and are written in such a way that the information can be assimilated quickly.
There are many quality tools identified as appropriate for use in both any ISO management system and process improvement environment. They are known as Ishikawa’s basic tools such as, cause-and-effect diagrams, flowcharting, check sheets, Pareto diagrams, control charts, histograms and scatter diagrams to name a few.
The quick reference cards are written with short guide notes, images and examples of how to implement these tools in easy steps, these are great for team exercises or were you need guidance on how best to use these tools.
